Message (Text Version)
Welcome to the InnerSelf Newsletter...
I find it hard to believe, but it's already been almost 4 weeks since the last "new issue" of InnerSelf... Since our commitment to you is that it be sent out approximately every three weeks, I guess we're still in the "approximate" range :)
The December newsletter brings you some great reading material... looking at our "need" to be perfect, at appreciating the blessings in our lives, and the importance of imagination and honoring ourselves. We also take a look at being angels to one another...
We remind you that InnerSelf articles are free for everyone to read - send your friends the links to the articles... We do, of course, appreciate any donations to help fund the work we do... If you wish to "show your appreciation" the link is available further in the newsletter... Thank you.
If you wish to be removed from the list, see the unsubscribe information at the bottom of this email.
Best wishes and Happy reading!
Marie T. Russell, editor,
InnerSelf Magazine

A way of preventing worry is to stop being such a perfectionist. You don't have to do everything flawlessly. It's mainly in the mind that you worry about doing everything just right. Making a loaf of Sabbath bread on Friday morning was my grandmother's favorite teaching tool. As she kneaded the dough, she said, "This is what the world does to you sometimes. It stretches you, and pushes you around, and..." read more at http://innerself.com/html/content/view/6047/

The Crisis of Imagination
by Robert Moss.
The greatest crisis in our lives is a crisis of imagination. We get stuck, and we bind ourselves to the wheel of repetition, because we refuse to reimagine our situation. To address our challenges, we need to draw on extraordinary sources of information and... read more at http://innerself.com/html/content/view/6061/

Honoring Yourself
by Brian Klemmer.
Honor is really about respect. The word respect is commonly used as it relates to respecting others. For example, "Respect your elders. Honor your mother and your father." These phrases are familiar. But how about this one: "Honor yourself." Does that feel right to you? ... read more at http://innerself.com/html/content/view/6056/
